Well we've been thinking about talking about social media influences and there's one that's been going on there's been like it's kind of a virus just everybody's talking about it or everyone was talking about I think it's like covert that's kind of calmed down now right um it's it's it's about like when influencers have so much influence and confidence and they make from their ability to to convince all their fans whatever they say they just do like whatever they want they just say yes okay yeah oh my God I love that whatever it is like that's just so crazy people will believe the influencer anything they say anything they do do they say I've been I've been like I've done the 24-hour challenge oh my God how you can't believe any 84 few Clips like and because they record and they clip it and they edit it and obviously kids volunteer was younger convinced she's like what how did they spend time do you remember when you said to your mom it's been 24 hours no in the room in the toilet in the toilet in 24 hours you shouldn't say I want to spend 20 minutes half an hour one hour like 24 hours and people are just so legitimate like they literally they'll be like they were like like is there one minute to get but like what's more realistic is the last to leave

that lasted exactly two and I remember everyone just ended up getting up and doing the road and I remember telling you Tia it's not true mommy and I wasn't telling you I was like baby they're just editing no one's gonna sit in the ball pit for 24 hours honey they need to go toilet they need to sleep they need to eat yeah

yeah you refuse to believe that you're like no it's not true well I think they're very not been like I've realized that it's not possible like it's not possible we spent two hours straight in our bedrooms in our bedrooms two hours maybe a bit longer but that was like crazy crazy like crazy literally um uh and I was so convinced that they spent 24 hours and now I realize the longest you can go is like two hours but then do you understand that

they convinced me exactly exactly that it was true so I was trying to convince you that I actually got annoyed with you but then I was like even like with all the things that you

use who's your favorite okay I've got some view that you really like and if they're trending something you and everyone else wants to do exactly like it and it's just such a important powerful thing like if they're if they're dressed like this or and you like Do You Remember on YouTube when they all go when they show stuff and they go how did they do it they go like this I guess that's my thing my item and yeah and then they use their hands and their fingers look at my chain yeah and they go and they tap on something

I remember when I was younger I used to record videos of myself and I think every child's play recording images of themselves and oh my God it's hilarious how when I look back at this it's we open oh and we always look like our old videos and we think oh my God that's so cringe but this was cringe because I was trying to copy these cringe stuff

it was like oh my God what am I doing crazy really like trying to like

do you like this like OMG guys like OMG OMG you know so it was so it's so crazy it's not even like my younger self like making like this is what I'm gonna be making we're making slime like that's when you look back at his cringe but it's like it's not like super great like even when when you're not trying to copy someone you obviously go so this is what I'm gonna be using and then you add it in that's normal um but the what I did before which I don't even want to do again this is just so cringe it's just not normal like that is just that's how cringy is okay that is how cringes that's how it's not it's not even nice anyways moving on moving on hopefully but isn't it funny how so it like influences have so much power if they say something and it becomes the trending thing like everybody everyone talks about it everyone wants to do it it's like a zombie invade like a zombie attack like it gets everybody gets it and then everybody starts doing it everybody turns into a zombie and

and the thing is most of the influencers a lot of the influencers they're not positive influence like so just they're fake but they've been doing it for money they're just doing it by themselves like I watch a lot of um I've come across a lot of fake fakes which is like they really tried to like put on a really like happy voice and hey guys and they really tried to have a positive attitude and girl kitty and fun and today we're gonna be doing and that is just like you're thinking yeah that's not real you're just you're just because you just think it's like not being okay and being annoying and being like yeah I'm sorry but when I watch actual um like the channels I watch like um like gem sisters um they're more honest they're more honest they just they do they call themselves more yeah like when I watch um the gem sisters sometimes like they're a bit weird they're a bit cuckoo what are they doing because that's how they are they're not trying to be like oh my God people they're gonna think I made so we need to act really kind and funny like yeah yeah it's not like yeah it's unscripted it's very beautiful it's very like they're like oh my God this is a really cool challenge people are doing um we pick each other's outfits for the whole day and then they'll do that challenge but with no script they're like they're not gonna say okay so you have to pick something like really weird probably from my purples and blues and then like this and I'm gonna react like really really weird and you have to be like they don't do any of that it's just like so this is how you have to do it you have to pick an outfit for me you have to pick another for you and then you have to pick my home clothes and then you have to put my pyjamas and then that's it and then they record and then but don't you think that you like influencers have what I mean is that I remember um none of the whole back to school yeah craze right that was like big on social media and every time it's like I feel like consumers saying it's been we've been controlled by and everyone gets fed into this right so this whole back to school shopping um well before you grew up and used social media yeah okay like you would go back to school and it wasn't a big deal in England we don't do the school stationery business because our school provides us but because we made when we get to secondary we might need our own notebooks and old school bags because she was very American and there's a lot of American influences

all the big companies and start promoting all their stuff and you know what's that brand um Target nice yeah well targeting all of those American ones but the English ones the smuggles snuggles Smiggle um snuggle Smiggle snuggle Smiggle snuggle Smiggle okay we got the point I got somewhere near it but yeah that really nice brand they will start you know paying people to share their things and then everyone gets like sucked in to the but they're only just buying more stuff what they were trying to do is they bring in those famous people like sequences no the influences not smuggles snuggles sorry they bring in the influences and then they pay them exactly okay and then everyone goes oh my God and they do a cute video and it's like Mommy Mommy I want please please I need to go back to school stuff you made me do it I had to do it once I'm I'm not obviously perfect but I she did my head in and please I want back to school things I was like okay fine she's still young she doesn't get it I allowed you to do it and then I started to tell her I started to explain to you I was like me I don't remember this no it's okay I remember so was I really young yeah that is it's all right one off is not a problem but I slowly started just to stop me from I started to brainwash you and tell you that we don't need to do this and and then I went oh okay I don't need school supplies that's all right but then other things like Halloween we're in England we don't really celebrate Halloween then I'm sure now we do everyone goes crazy on Halloween now Halloween Halloween Halloween Halloween Halloween and we have to buy us Halloween costumes and decoy sounds crazy I remember one Halloween there was like there's an old it was like an old woman and an old man and they were like like Pete they like served pizzas and they were like creep like zombies it was where um your friend I don't say names okay your friend where they lived there's loads of like houses all right whoa I remember like the houses were decorated and there were probably American and then they were English because the Americans don't live around them but that's what I meant we've been sucked in I remember when I was a kid I don't remember about how they Halloween but I grew up to be Halloween but now even the shops they introduced to Halloween decorations from I think Halloween's been introduced from maybe September no not the year dummy I'm talking about my month every year I think the end of August September you start seeing Halloween stuff Halloween like little things you know where whatever it is Halloween chocolate Halloween the candy the costumes you've seen all those sorry but you still seeing all of that stuff being sold and it's book again with fed into that idea you have to buy you have to buy you have to do Halloween and it's in your face and then you see it's like so much Christmas stuff and it's in your face all the time and then well Christmas is because we're lazy the Easter stuff Christmas and East is more religious well yeah but it's not anymore people see it now because it's like a consumerism oh let's celebrate it let's have fun but it's really I remember just talking about Easter eggs you need to buy more food more presents yeah and it's done less for the religious reasons and more because it's more people are like oh my God now everybody's celebrating Christmas yeah [Music] I'm not

mad but

I'm touching a pagan like thing and it's actually non-religious but anyway let's not go into that but again it's just feeding people go out there buy lots of presents Christmas buy big turkeys buy lots of food buy lots of drinks we have to make a big party buy and make the corporate companies you know rent out the halls and it's like it's like really sad because it's like you need like it's re it's actually really religious like Ramadan what we celebrate when people start to see that and go oh it seems really fun to like you know fast and have a big meal at the end of the day which you shouldn't be doing you should be having a big meal you should you shouldn't you shouldn't you shouldn't really be having a big meal but um

people will probably see that and be like oh my God it's healthy for you to fast and then celebrate and be like oh my God I did really good and I think like God and Jesus will be proud of me so then they go ahead and celebrate Ramadan thinking that it's well eventually that might be something that happens and everyone else does it and everyone else does it just at Christmas and then there's like the people the poor people are just gonna be like where's our separate religion religious times for us to feel like we can be religious for once and it's not like a it's a fun holiday but it's also a Time To Remember

you mean that the the festivity should be for each for each religion it's not supposed to be like everybody go out by this by this it's everybody sees Christmas as like a fun holiday like a time for songs and eating turkey but they don't know the story behind it they need to actually study the story behind it to understand what it actually means because if let's say like you don't celebrate Christmas you're realizing oh my God I'm doing all of this but I'm not Christian oh I'm celebrating Jesus's birthday

so do you get what I mean like I get I get why it's exciting you get presents you decorate a treat it's all nice and sweet but the Christians do it because it's a holiday that they believe in not just because it's fun wow but we're not being but we're not being respectful to their to them people are not being sold that though they're not sold to the religion the religious suspects that's what I'm saying well it's fun so let's buy more it's about buying and selling it's about making more money

so that's my point of view I'm saying if none of what you're saying happened all of that would be all of what I said would be all the Christians would be celebrating Christmas or the Muslims would be celebrating Ramadan and Eid and I don't know any other ones

and I think Jews celebrate one yes

and I think there's there's no seek celebrate um Diwali Diwali but yeah I'm just like now in like I was doing the little project like where we we could like we were I remember talking about like how you can make the Diwali Diwali like so patches with all the colored sand and all of that and it seems really fun like don't get me wrong it's usually fun but we were doing the color Rings that's fine to understand what Diwali means in school they teach us all they teach us from the darn and Christmas and what it means that's religious song aspect of it aspects

[Music] um over there and so we do little colorings of like Harry would want to do otherwise like Diwali art or like uh Ramadan or eids lanterns or Christmas tree we would do all of those to like like say to any questions in my class like happy Christmas Merry Christmas well to the Muslims Ramadan stuff like that so I remember doing those that doesn't mean I'm celebrating it yeah it makes perfect and it doesn't mean I'm buying stuff four four which is what you said from people well while I when when you were very young I used to um I used to bring a Christmas tree and decorate it yeah and I used to do like all Christmas decorations and because when I was young um my my mom my parents wouldn't do the whole Christmas stuff and they wouldn't celebrate it because we're Muslim of course but everyone around me um here in the UK celebrates it and I just thought it was really strange why do we not even have like a Christmas tree and why don't we like do anything so when I had you I thought oh well it'll be nice for you to see some experience like Christmas but also tell me that this isn't our religion this is not of course we're not gonna do this our whole life this is just yeah that's what just a little like few times maybe until you like actually until I grow up which is like now I'm probably gonna say like no you understand deciding now that maybe we shouldn't now that you understand but when when you're younger I didn't want you to not to get confused my parents didn't understand that but it's very it was very confusing for a child to be raised in their society where everyone and does one thing and [Music] thing and you know like culturally and traditionally and my parents were very extreme about it whereas we're with you I learned from my experience as a child like it's just a dream that I want you to see that it is happening around you it's going to happen inside with us it's okay and then slowly when you grow up you'll understand the meaning of Christmas and why we celebrate it and who we are what do you mean by it's happening in okay like and it's okay what do you mean by that like when you were younger I bought in Christmas decorations

not the proper Christmas trees and I did I did tree and lights and effects and whatever so you know that that's what's happening outside and at home we're doing it because she said oh Mommy I want Christmas okay no problem we can have Christmas at home so that was me telling you that it's okay that you can have Christmas at home when you were young but as you grew up I started to explain to you Mommy that this is from Christians they celebrate it because that's their religion and we're Muslim and we celebrate other religion other festivities and celebrations and slowly slowly I started to explain it to you that you know you need to stop we need to add some respect this is for them and this is for us and it's okay and when we see other Christians we greet them and we give them presents and during Christmas Day we can celebrate with our friends and family and loved ones but you got it but I can't tell you rule no we're not doing that no it doesn't work like that you need to understand this like on on Christmas we meet up with our family we just gather we have a brown meal we could we just yeah but we don't do the whole presence or um or tree or decorations or songs or something we're always singing all the time reducing good songs because they're always playing right yeah but yeah we don't we do it in a pure really

you got to understand what you what we can and can't do emerge different cultures and society as you grow up fun going back to our topic you were Keen in um having Logan Paul's drink and KSI um Prime drink yes and you're like I was I actually mom's gonna say I was Buffy Club I wasn't really bugged with you no she wasn't I wasn't budding you she wanted um but I was very curious because I personally think that Prime is just an energy drink it really is just an energy drink it is it's just an energy drink made by these this famous boxer um wrestler I don't even know um and a rapper and I honestly don't care who made it but I'm only trying it because people are getting so like who made Red Bull

um some ending I think is he famous he's Rich he's rich now because he made the drink but he wasn't Rich before he just thought maybe let's make a energy I think it's something wrong that's what whoever he was I'm pretty sure he wasn't like super famous no but these are people are famous so that's why they're so hyped up about it okay so this is where we're talking so famous people now on social media who I most of the time are famous for no reason and they have nothing valuable to give they react to videos somehow people like silliness and so I think people get more airheaded and more empty inside and are easily entertained um I'm not saying that this is the case with Logan Paul in case I I'm pretty sure they have their own fan base and they've got their own content and I think they are I don't know boxes or they do sports or music or something they definitely do sports but they work out and they thought about they think they think about the money they don't think about the fans they don't they sell it like they think about the fun so they pretend that's doing it we're doing it please guys we're trying to give you even better energy and you're gonna get the focus you're gonna focus better and you're gonna do this and that's why they're gonna do it that's what they were trying to sell it right yeah and all the fans because they love them and they believe and worship everything they say they were God do they believe them and then what did it turn out to be is that actually other stuff in there was bad for your health and it's not good for your health if anything it's complete opposite but people were queuing up then I was actually in they were fighting when it came to the UK in the UK um I don't know if you saw the news but it came one day the first day in the UK and it was at an Audi I think it was at the Audi we live close to oh my days like my mom said people were jumping on top of each other swearing punching being violent physically violent to get like a drink a drink a drink like a drink literally a drink and it's just it's it's not even like um you can't even think about it it's just it's so unreal it's it's not for an iPhone it's nothing for it's nothing valuable it's not invaluable it's nothing like it's not like you're going to get a TV or an iPhone it's not like you're gonna drink and then suddenly the kind of like you can fly like you're gonna have wings or you're gonna drink it like the Red Bull advert yeah the thing the same for the able Red Bull gives you wings but no you're not going to drink it and then suddenly become 10 times smarter than exactly where you are or 10 times prettier or stronger and the fact that they say you can focus more I don't I don't personally believe because like mum said it has stuff that are really bad it's proven to be that it's not good for you it's not good

the but because that's the thing that's what I'm trying to see they have a huge fan base in the millions so anything they make even if it was a lump of poo and they decorated it put in a box everyone's gonna be like oh my God I need to buy that glue it must be like a God's poodle I don't know like flavored if you eat it and they'll be like Slender yummy and guess what they put in it guess what they put in it some rubbish to make it taste amazing some absolute rubbish and then they're gonna sell it and they say oh and that's not the other thing and then they're gonna sell the poo which they just took out of their bottom and served it and then they're going to put a five pound label on it I could do it for in the toilet for free but I really don't need to bring for it

wow yeah wow wow so they drink their drink came out and it's supposed to cost one pound 99 or something right or one maybe for one hour it lasted one pound oh my goodness did I not see it somewhere someone was selling it for nearly 200 pounds

I was like okay 200 pounds that's a piece of gold so I was gonna get Prime the drink and a piece of gold let's do it and can I also say something in my school um the kids they take a prime bottle drink their Prime they come to school the next day and their Waters in a pine bottle it's like they've got a piece of Louis Vuitton or Gucci do you like my new school bag which it should be it should be do you like my new school bag no do you like my new water bottle my Prime my Prime but seriously the prices okay normal energy you probably have to lose your bottle right I mean what's the difference between that drink and boost boost that costs 70p or 79b that's the 91.50 people because the price has gone up let's say 79p which is fine very low how much is Red Bull Red Bull is the top end or almost the other one called Monster right two pounds why the hell is there there cam five pound why why is it a bottle the bottles five pounds now after more than a year it's the prices have gone down when I'm an adult when I am an adult drinks will be like 20 pounds yeah they're gonna be like 20 pounds and the poor kids can't even drink and be like no you can't get the the drink that you can drink you can only have water the thing is it's not about that even if we had millions and millions and millions of pounds a pound I'm not going to waste it on something it's so ridiculous like that yeah but it's not an exceptionally better drink it's not growing to make you it's not a supplement I'm not going to take it and my nails are going to grow super quick I'm good drinking and suddenly I'm gonna again oh my I'm going to have lots of hair yeah I'm not going to drink it

and the thing is they say that they they they make primes to drink super healthy and everything um but that like you just said it's not gonna make you really strong or anything and what I was also saying about my kids and if I'm me saying like oh I don't like I meant like with any drink not just like Prime influences making it like there's gonna be new drinks maybe not just drinks with your kids with anything with anything if they said to you Mama and that's my my point is just trying to live living I'm just saying about cost of living I'm not gonna be able to buy them in even if even if like you said if it's by an influencer or someone famous or a celebrity obviously I mean something silly like a drink then no I'm not gonna get it if if the topic is the price cost of living yes that's gonna have to be in another episode that's what today's episode

but I

just meant like I'm not gonna buy my kids um like like a drink made by an influencer yeah even if it was cheap even if it was cheap I might let them try it see if they finally do try it today well we haven't tried that I bought it out of here well I'm not curious about experimenting experiments and to be honest with you it's for the content because we're honest

yeah I don't like we like transparency and honesty and have an Integrity in our production but yeah I don't know why we're holding it yeah

the prime drink this is the prime drink s and this is what flavor is this this is lemon lemon lime and no artificial flavoring yeah no artificial colors and what does it help you with let's see 100 coconut water 250 milligram of bees and muscle or B vitamins antioxidants

my dad is gonna try that and let's see what he thinks of it what do you I don't know what's going to think let's see well we'll tell you guys later that's a good end to the video a disgusting reaction but that's it yeah that's a reaction so if you're an influencer listening please be careful don't just think about yourself you know if you're making stuff you just made us taste that right make thing make make things with a value like and make it taste good but that's if they're selling food and drink well what about if they're making clothes or they're making iPods or I don't know or making hair stuff yeah just make it just make it like out of love yeah make it out of like don't use your power and your influence just to sell for the sake of selling just like make it like you know like people sell diet pills or they tell you their influence will come up like I swear to God I try this and it made me lose so much weight and oh my God you gotta do it no have like be honest like yeah have some Integrity like apples like respect out of respect out of respect be more ethical yeah just respect just for your fan base no we're not hating or anything just no we're not definitely not eating definitely not hating just don't maybe just be more careful yeah it's an honest advice what what you do and just look after your fans how much it costs the coffee fans
